Review:

I haven’t seen a Will Ferrell movie in a very long time because of how raunchy most of them are. However, this one was PG-13 and I looked up to see if there was anything bad and besides the language it was overall tolerable. I definitely laughed out loud several times and was surprised by the depth of the film - dealing with dad and stepdad relationships. Mark Wahlberg continues to surprise me in the movies I see of him. He played a very good and complex “evil” character. I think I rated this movie better than it deserves just because it has been so long since I’ve seen a decent comedy movie, but I’ll stick to my guns here.
